The Second Amendment Working Group is dedicated to a ballot initiative that amends Article 2, Section 13 of the Colorado Constitution to fully enshrine the right to personal defense within the state — closing the gaps that have allowed incremental erosion of this fundamental right.
A constitutional amendment puts the right to personal defense beyond the reach of the legislature. We are building the coalition, the legal language, and the public support to put this directly before Colorado voters.
